All Day Vape

Put simply, this is your favored e-liquid which you vape majority of the times.

Analog or Analogue

A term associated with a traditional cigarette in the Vaping community.

 Atomizer (Atty)

One of the most important parts of a Vaping Pen is the Atomizer or Atty which heats the e-liquid into Vape.


APV or Advanced Personal Vaporizer is a bigger version of a Vape, has a larger battery and comes bundled with a few additional features such as variable voltage.


This is simply an advanced automatic version of the Vape minus a button to activate the atomizer. The internal sensor automatically triggers the atomizer when the user draws on the mouthpiece, allowing the Vape to be inhaled.


Another important part of your device is the battery which can be internally or externally charged. The main purpose is to provide power to the coil, enabling the heating element to heat the e-liquid and further vaporize it.


Cartomizers are old school tech which basically had atomizers equipped with cartridges with a whole lot more capacity for storing e-liquid . Think of it as disposable e-Vaporizers.


The small plastic tube used for storing the e-liquid material.


An external charge used to replenish your battery once it’s run out of juice.


Atomizer consists of a coil, which primarily is the heating element used to heat up the e-liquid which in turn produces vapor. Ideally, this is recommended to be replaced once in a few weeks for optimum performance.


To ensure your vaporizer never overheats, it comes equipped with an automatic cut off which starts blinking when the atomizer has been overused.


Diacetyl is a type of flavoring which has now been discontinued by many e-liquid manufacturers as it known to cause Bronchiolitis in some users if inhaled in large quantity.

Drip Tip

Drip Tip is an accessory which enables users to drop e-liquid directly onto the atomizer and has a larger opening than standardized equipment.

Dry Hit

When the tank has run dry but the user tries to inhale from the Vape, a hit occurs devoid of any vapor since e-liquid is absent. This leaves an uncomfortable sensation called as a dry hit.


This is the liquid used with Vaporizers to well, Vaporize. It generally consists of 4 elements : Nicotine, Propylene Glycol, Added Flavor and Vegetable Glycerin.


Often referred to as an E-Cigarette or in its abbreviated form, E-Cig


When there’s too much e-liquid on the coil of an atomizer, it results in less vapor being produced. This is flooding.

mAh (milli-ampere-hours)

It is used to represent the capacity or the amount of energy that can be stored within a battery before it needs to be recharged.

Milligrams (MG)

Used to denote the amount of nicotine present in e-liquid. General levels are 0mg to represent zero nicotine or 18 mg which means 1.8% nicotine in your e-liquid.


A device that acts as a value addition to your vaporizer by way of installing a larger battery or other modifications which in turn, serves to boost overall performance.

PG (Propylene Glycol)

Used as a base in many flavors, it’s been deemed safe for usage in medical products and food products but several people have reported an allergic reaction to PG.


A pass-through can be attached to the device and connected directly to the computer. This enables the user to Vape while it’s charging enabling the user not to be bothered about the battery life as such.

Rebuildable Atomizer

Rebuildable Atomizers come in different designs and vary in shape and appearance as well. They are built to work seamlessly with different types of wire like Kanthal, Nickel etc and some of them even come with a built-in tank for storing e-liquid.

Smoke Juice

Another name given to e-liquid, it’s also simply known as liquid or even juice.

Starter Kit

A starter kit as the name suggests, typically comes bundled with the essentials you need to get started with Vaping.


Tanks are containers which are used to hold e-liquid and also have a transparent screen to enable the user to see how much e-liquid is remaining to help determine whether it needs refilling or not.

Topping Off

Filling up the tank with e-liquid, right up to the brim.


The act of using a vaporizer to produce vapor is described as Vaping.


Put simply the user who uses a Vaporizer is called a Vaper.

Vapers Tounge

Vaping too much of the same flavor can lead to your tongue getting accustomed to it thus making you totally numb to that particular flavor.

VG (Vegetable Glycerin)

Extracted out of vegetable oil, it’s an alternative to Propylene Glycol (PG). It’s used as a substitute for people who are allergic to PG.


A thin string used to transport e-liquid to the heating element and can be made of silica, cotton or even steel mesh.
